Friday 26th October 2012

At this stage the Jet Lag was really starting to kick in.  It was hard to get started each day and catching up with everything at home and at the Golf Club was a struggle.

Saturday 20th October 2012 was a very busy day having two garden weddings at the Golf Club to prepare for and then going out to a Wamberal Restaurant to help celebrate Lynn Puiatti's 60th Birthday party made it a big day.

Sunday 21st October 2012 we had not booked in for golf as we were looking after Joel & Emily for the day while Rod & Anne were doing some maintenance work on their unit which they are putting on the market.
Peter over indulged at the party the night before and was not any help with the babysitting.

I had fun with the kids doing some gardening where they helped me to plant the tomato bushes and then we went for a walk to the railway to watch some trains come and go from the station.  It was a big day after a late night so I felt exhausted at the end of the day.

Monday 22nd October 2012 we had F-Troop day which started at 7.00 am & we worked through till lunch time.  We have not had much rain and plenty of wind so there was a lot of clean up work to be done.

Tuesday 23rd October 2012 I did not play golf with the girls but went to the clubhouse to take presentation photos.

Wednesday 24th October 2012 through to Friday 26th October 2012 I spent gardening either at the golf club or at home & catching up with household things with the exception of Thursday when I had the first of my cataract operations which was only a day visit to the hospital.  It was a simple operation that went well but I came home with a patch over my eye and it also kept me quiet for a day or two.  There was no pain but I had to be careful not to aggravate my eye & keep up the eye drops. Friday evening we went to the Golf Club for Raffle Night and won some meat raffles.
