Thursday 18th October 2012 I spent the day in the front gardens which seemed to be the most urgent of the jobs to catch up on. The roses had grown well while I was a way - but so had the weeds.
Friday 19th october 2012 I did some more gardening and then went to my hairdresser for some hair repair after seven weeks of neglect. That evening we went to the Golf Club for Raffles and the badge draw so we could catch up with everyone and the local news. In the garden competition the Golf Club gardens won three finalist certificates which was good. That all happened while I was away this year so I had to rely on my offsiders to carry the load for me. It was a good result as there had not been a lot of rain and we had hot weather with a lot of wind while we were away.
