We had a very quiet, low key recovery day on Sunday following the wedding : starting with breakfast at the Quality Inn Willows motel where the Bride & Groom & a lot of the wedding guests stayed the night before. That was followed by a bbq lunch and opening of the wedding gifts at our place after which most of the family left for their various homes. Phil & Lorraine and Dale & Barry were staying over until Monday so we went to the Gosford Golf Club for dinner & were joined there by Rod & Anne who did not surface in time for the earlier events.
Today (Monday) was a recovery day for me to get over the recovery day. We had lunch at the Gosford RSL Club with Shane & Sam prior to them leaving for their honeymoon in Thailand tomorrow.
The winter weather has settled back in just in time for the rest of the Golf Championship matches after having two of the most perfect August days we could ever have wished for.
