As well as being my very happy birthday it was the final day of the club championships.
By the end of the third round I had a good lead, but as there are no guarantees especially in golf I had to try and apply myself for the final round. Fortunately I came in with a 19 shot lead at the end of the day & won the 2nd division. My playing partners were again Margaret Davidson & Rita Gilmour. We had a very enjoyable day with Margaret winning the daily event with a nice 95 off the stick, 69 nett. This was my first day in 1st Division & I was very happy to come in midway with an 82 on my new handicap of 19.
Sheena Asken won 1st Division and is the official Club Champion.
