Today we had a very pleasant day playing with Denise & Laurie Bentlin. It was a novelty event Single Stableford 2 ball event, scoring holes 1 - 6 worst ball, Holes 7 - 12 aggregate, Holes 13- 18 best ball.
We tried out best, but were beaten by some very sensational scores.
The highlights for today were for; Denise -a 4/4 on the 9th hole (great result & won us the side bet with the boys for a Keno Ticket); for Laurie -in the second hole for a par; for Pete his 3rd shot to the 4th green in very difficult circumstances; for -Jan 5/3 on the seventh hole ( a long one putt straight into the hole). I played in the buffer zone & came home with a ball - so a good result for the day. Pete won a ball which is a sensational result taking into account his day before activities at Shane' bucks day.
