Today was a two ball/ best ball competition and my partner was Carol Farrell. We had an excellent day both contributing at the appropriate time and finished with a score of 43 points. This was enough to bring us into 3rd place being beaten on a count back for second.
We combined well & were very happy with the result.
The weather was beautiful and our other two playing partners were Frances Maclean & Kath Small.
Highlights of the day were for Kath : Landing her drive on the 8th green and 4/4 on the 16th; for Fran : a 4/3 on the 15th and 5/3 on the 9th; for Carol a 4/3 on the 15th and some excellent putting; for Jan scoring five 3 pointers; 4/3 on the 3rd and 4/3 on the 16th after being in the bunker; 4/2 on the 14th after being only one inch from out-of-bounds.
