It was another lovely hot day at "The Bay"to finish up our two week holiday.
We spent the morning at the beach soaking up the sun & the water temperature was beautiful.
We went to the Great Northern Hotel for lunch & we managed to find a nice table in the shade with a little breeze to cool us down After lunch we went to the local Bowling Club to check out their diner menu for that night. We had a couple of drinks while watching the bowlers battling it out on the links.
Dinner that night at the Bowling club was a smorgasbord of Chinese food with fruit and desserts which was quite nice. After dinner we stopped off at the twilight markets on the way back to our cabin.
The two weeks has gone very quickly as most holidays do. We are hoping it is no too hot to travel home tomorrow. Thank heavens for air conditioners. The temperatures at home have been hot to the extreme for most of the time we have been away and I am frightened to think how much the gardens will have been burnt off.
The forecast is for a change to come through late tomorrow so I hope it is correct. Temperatures over 40 degrees are over the top.
