Saturday was a great day for travelling - a little cool - at least to Buladelah where we stopped at a nice little coffee shop where we met up with our travelling friends Mark & Anne & had lunch before moving on to Port Macquarie.
After Buladelah the weather warmed up & was very pleasant by the time we arrived at our accommodation & booked in late afternoon. We stayed at the Country Comfort which was right on the Hastings River - a nice quite spot which very conveniently had the Bowling Club next door. The rooms were comfortable & had a nice little balcony overlooking the river.
We all had happy hour at the Bowling Club & stayed on for dinner at the club Bistro.
After dinner we had a game of 500 to get my playing skills up to scratch before the serious cards started at the Royal Pines Resort.
Next day we checked out about 9 o'clock & had a short tour around Port Macquarie before heading to Wauchope to play golf there.
