Bonville is definately something to put on your "list of things to do before you die" if you are a golfer. The Resort was lovely & the course magnificent. Quite challenging but very enjoyable.
One game of golf there was not enough. I will not need much pushing to get me to go back there.
The accommodation is very comfortable & has a large pro shop (very tempting). We had a BBQ dinner on the terrace & had some of the best steak we had tasted for a long time. It was beautfully done with plenty of salads and heaps of back up rissoles, sausages etc. for the hungry men.
We enjoyed the golf. Peter played really well & we won the mixed two ball on the day with not a lot of contribution from me. We did manage to get lost on one hole & had to double back to get ourselves on the right track. It is a huge course & would be impossible to play without motorised carts. We had time for a short happy hour on the verandah overlooking the course. After dinner we found a lounge room upstairs in the clubhouse where we played a game of 500.
We were back in our rooms by 10 o'clock as we had another treck to do tomorrow to get ourselves to the Royal Pines Golf Resort on the Gold Coast.
