We have had lovely weather for all of this week - a bit of a chill in the air but nice sunny days. A pity it was all spoiled with my chest infection still hanging around. It has been a busy week with lots of things to pack in.
Thursday 17th May 2012 we spent an hour out Erina sorting out our travel insurance for the USA trip which is now getting set in concrete. The major part of the holiday is sorted. I spent the rest of the day scanning photos into my computer from my photo graveyard and finished one large batch of photos.
Friday 18th May 2012 we delivered some excess succulent plants from the Golf Club back to the nursery so we can swap them for other plants. Then we collected two trailer loads of soil for the lavender garden at the golf club. It was a big job but we got it done. That evening we went to the golf club for dinner and won another meat tray in the raffles which was a bonus.
Saturday 19th May 2012 it was Joel's 3rd Birthday. He had a birthday party with some of his pre-school friends and had a wonderful day. We were over there about 9.30am and stayed until lunchtime when we had to leave to go to Neil's 70th birthday party. Joel was thoroughly spoilt with heaps of toys. We bought him some Chuggington Trains which he loved. Neil Travis had his 70th birthday luncheon at his place at Wyoming. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and we sat out the back deck area and had a lovely social afternoon. We were to have been going out to dinner that night but the evening had to be cancelled. It was probably a good thing as it had been a long day as it was.
Sunday 20th May 2012 we went household shopping in the morning and then played golf with Graham and Anne who had been at their Farm in the Hunter Valley for the weekend. Our original golf partners had been sick with the flu and had to cancel so Graham & Anne filled in for them. We had a lovely day out on the course. Peter played good golf and won a ball. We did have some good highlights between us. Graham & Anne stayed for dinner at the club after golf which finished the day off nicely.
Monday 21st May 2012 we were at F-Troop at 7.00am. We had a big day there finishing a couple of big projects. Di and I had to plant out 100 or so plants which kept us busy for the morning. A nanny nap was required in the afternoon to recover.
Tuesday 22nd May 2012 (today) I played golf with Rosemary Cohen and Felicity Mead in a stroke event. It was a beautiful day and the course was playing well. None of us played very well but had some good moments when luck came our way. I am feeling very tired tonight and I think this chest infection may need some anti biotics to move it along
I have made an appointment for next Monday to see the Doctor but I hope I can shake it off before then.
Tomorrow I can have a rest day and take some time out.
