Today was a lovely day for golf. The course was still playing 'heavy' from the recent rain and the greens were still 'sandy' from the course maintenance this week. I had a lovely day with really great company. My playing partners today were Anne Burgess, Margaret Mackie and Mary Ellis. We had a good day and it was a bit of a pity about the golf scores. We tried our best but had difficulty with the sandy greens.
