July has flown past faster than a speeding bullet. I have a bad cold in the midst of it which lowered my energy levels for a couple of weeks thus I am miles behind in my blogging.
Wednesday 3rd July 2013 I did some pruning of the roses which fell behind because of all the wet weather we have had.
Thursday 4th July 2013 I followed up with the pruning and finished some of the front gardens
Friday 5th July 2013 I had lunch at the Golf Club with Lorraine & Des and had a catch up with them. Friday evening we went to the club for diner and the raffles.
Saturday 6th July 2013 the kids came over while Peter was at golf and stayed for dinner.
Sunday 7th July 2013 we played golf with John & Julie Hazzard and had a nice day.
Monday 8th July 2013 we had an early start with F-Troop and worked until lunch time.
Tuesday 9th July 2013 I played golf with Sandy Laybutt and won the Div 2 Single Stableford even though my score was not great. The course was still wet and all the scores were low.
Wednesday 10th July 2013 I had my nails done and bought a new you beaut mousepad for my computer.
Thursday 11th July 2013 I worked on the Ladies garden at the 13th tee replacing plants and weeding.
Friday 12th July 2013 we were at the Golf Club again for the laying of the asphalt in the car park and I cleaned out some of the front garden.
Saturday 13th July 2013 Peter played golf and the kids came over and stayed for dinner.
Sunday 14th July 2013 we went to the Townies re-union at the Woy Woy hotel and had a good catch up with all our old football friends. That evening we went to the club for presentation of the golf trophies and had dinner at the Gosford Hotel.
Monday 15th July 2013 we had F-Troop again with an early start. I had the onset of a cold so was not feeling too good.
Tuesday 16th July 2013 and Wednesday 17th July were sick days
Thursday 18th 2013 we went out to Erina to check out a Motor Home that we want to rent to go to Cunnamulla at the end of August. The Motor Home looked good so we have booked it for 10 days so we can take our time and stop off for some games of golf along the way.
Friday 19th July 2013 I was feeling a little better but no energy. Our toilet cistern cracked during last week so we had to buy a whole new toilet and have a plumber come and install it today. We went to the club for dinner and raffles that evening.
Saturday 20th July 2013 I did some pruning of the roses and we had dinner that evening at Col & Laurens together with Mark & Anne and Duncan and Rosalie.
Sunday 21st July 2013 we played golf with Duncan & Rosalie and had a nice day. That evening we went to the Gosford Hotel for dinner with some of the golf friends.
Monday 22nd July 2013 was F-Troop and I worked on the front street gardens which is a big job.
Tuesday 23rd July 2013 I did not play golf but pruned the roses in the back garden.
Wednesday 24th July 2013 and Thursday 25th July 2013 I worked on the front street garden at the Golf Club.
Friday 26th July 2013 we did the household shopping and I bought a new steam mop and a floor sweeper and a food warmer from Aldi. Friday evening we went to the Golf Club for dinner and the raffles.
Saturday 27th July 2013 I had a big house clean and tested out the new steam mop.
Sunday 28th July 2013 the kids came around for breakfast and we gave the food warmer a try out. I took Joel and Emily for a walk to the railway which they loved. Then we went to golf to play the first round of the the Team Series. Our team partners are Mark Stimpson and Faye Levenspiel and our opposition playing partners were Robin Incoll and Duncan Brown. We had a good day even though our scores were not wonderful.
Monday 29th July 2013 we had an early start with F-Troop and had a hard mornings work trimming down all of the Crepe Myrtle trees in addition to other things.
Tuesday 30th July 2013 I played golf with Val Anderson and Sharon Anderson. Sharon won Div 2 and Val came runner up in Div 3 so we had a good day.
Wednesday 31st July 2013 I spent a morning at the Golf Club trimming some hydrangeas and weeding the front garden.
Thursday 1st August 2013 I am having a catch up day at home - having fallen behind with everything during this month. This month has gone so quickly I can hardly remember what I have done.
I am looking forward to our trip to Cunnamulla to have a catch up with all the family and celebrate some big 0 birthdays.
