Tuesday 2nd July 2013

We have had a lot of rain in the last couple of weeks which has interfered with the golf no end.

Thursday 20th June 2013 I had a catch up day with my travel photos and tidying up the back yard.

Friday 21st June 2013  We went to Bunnings to buy some potting mix and a new comquat tree for the golf club gardens.  In the afternoon we went to Davistown to see George & Tosca for a catch up & to see their house at Davistown.  Friday evening we went to the Golf Club for dinner and raffles and won a leg of lamb & a breakfast tray which was a good bonus.

Saturday 22nd June 2013 I looked after Emily for the day while Anne took Joel to see Disney on Ice. I took Emily for a walk to see the trains that she enjoyed and we had a good day together. Anne & Joel came back in the afternoon and they stayed for baths and dinner.

Sunday 23rd June 2013 the weather was still bad so we had no golf.  We went to Bunnings to buy some hedge plants and a new rose for the garden.  We had a leg of lamb and the kids came over for dinner.

Monday 24th June 2013 was F-Troop Day.  I planted the new comquat tree while the boys lifted the old asphalt around the big tree that was being taken out the following week.

Tuesday 25th June 2013 there was no golf due to bad weather.  I caught up on a lot of my travel photos so I am close to being up to date with my travel blog.

Wednesday 26th June 2013 I planted the hedge plants in at the golf club and tidied up around the 1st and 10th tees.

Thursday 27th June 2013 I had my hair done and picked up some more hedge plants and roses from Bunnings.

Friday 28th June 2013 we planted in the new roses into the front gardens and I got some of the roses pruned.  That evening we went to the Golf Club for dinner and raffles and won another two meat trays.

Saturday 29th June 2013 was a bad weather day.  Anne bought the kids over to play as they were very bored and enclosed at home.  Luckily we have the verandah for them to play on.  They stayed for baths and dinner.

Sunday 30th June 2013 Rod, Anne & kids came for breakfast.  The weather was still not very good.  Shane kept them amused with his guitar which Emily danced to.  We went over to the Golf Club for lunch and met up with some of our golf friends as the golf had been washed out.  That evening we went to Mark & Anne's for dinner and a game of cards.

Monday 1st July 2013 was a big F-Troop day as the big tree at the front of the club house was being taken down by professional tree removalists.  It was fascinating to see how the professionals do it.  They make it look easy but I would not like to try to do it.  We stayed at the club until about 3.30pm so it was a big day.

Tuesday 2nd July 2013 (today) I did not play golf because the course was so wet and no carts were allowed on.  Instead we got the garden done at the 14th which was good to do while the ground was wet as I wanted to transplant some of the grasses.  We had lunch at our favourite coffee shop at Wyoming and came home for a nanny nap.

Tomorrow I plan to make some good progress in pruning all of my roses at home.  I have only been able to do limited pruning because all of our green bins have been full.
