Saturday 25th December 2010 - Christmas Day

Christmas Day 2010
We started the day at home with Christmas breakfast with Rod, Anne & Joel followed by present opening with Joel's assistance. Joel was old enough this year to appreciate his gifts and toys and he loved every minute of the day. He was thoroughly spoilt with some beautiful gifts all day.

At lunch time we all met up again at Ron & Rae's (Anne's parents) place at Springfield where we had a lovely lunch and some more present giving. Joel was very impressed with his play house from Uncle Jason & the table & chair made by Grandad.
It was a very hot day so Anne took Joel into the pool to test his new swimming aid equipment that he will be using for swimming lessons next year.
It was a nice relaxing afternoon & fun to watch Joel enjoying all his presents.
From Springfield we went to Terrigal to call in on George & Tosca for a quick Christmas hello on our way to Copacabana to have dinner with Butch & Anne & their family.
We arrived at Copacabana in good time & had a lovely dinner there with all the family. Eloise is now 3 1/2 years old and was right into Christmas so it was good to watch her have fun enjoying her presents. Children certainly make Christmas with all their excitement.
It was probably my most laziest Christmas Day ever as I had very little to do except to eat, drink & be merry which was not too hard to take. Now I will need a couple of days R & R to get over it.
