Wednesday 29th July I had a lovely day in Sydney travelling by train to the Lyric Theatre at Star City Casino with some of the golf girls. We caught an early train to get us to the waterfront in time for morning coffee in the beautiful sunshine, lunch and wine at the noodle bar in a nice comfortable time to see "Chicago" at 1.00 o'clock. It was a great show which we all enjoyed and we were safely home by 5.30 pm. Photo attached of us outside the casino.
Thursday 30th July 2009 was a big golf day being the first round of the Ladies Singles Knock Out. My playing partners today were Yvonne Wilson (my opposition), Christine Drakeford and Linda Rankin. We had a really nice day out in some really beautiful sunshine. Linda & I won our matches and we have to move to Round 2 Thursday of next week.
I am now preparing for and looking forward to a few days at Moree to help Lorraine celebrate her 60th birthday. Watch for photos from that.
