Monday 15th December 2008

Sunday 14th I spent most of the day in the garden cleaning out the side path gardens & trimming back the roses and calelias. I made enough mess to fill four green bins so that was enough work for that day. Graham and Anne called in for a cup of tea and a chat on their way back from Copacabana to Sydney. Peter opted to play golf as it was a nice day for it.
I made it to the Golf Club in time to get the results and highlights of the day. We stayed on for dinner with Mark & Anne Stimpson (winners on the day) and Norma & Ray Presdee which made it a pleasant night.
Monday 15th has been a huge day - working from 7.30 am until after midday with F-Troop at the club. We managed to get a huge workload done & were lucky enough to have 22 volunteers turn up to work which made a lot lighter work of it.
In the afternoon I joined the girls for a Christmas afternoon tea at Rosie Dyer's which turned out to be a very pleasant afternoon.
Images attached: work in progress at the garden at home; work on the magnolia garden at the golf club; work on the garden edges on the native garden on the 6th at the golf club; at afternoon tea with Pam, Rosalie, Judy, Yvonne, June, Rae, Alice, Helen and Rosemary.
