This morning I spent a few hours at Tarragal House with Mum. It was a lovely day so I took a hat out for Mum so that I could walk her around the gardens for a while & get out into the sunshine.
It was beautiful in all the gardens so we sat for a while in a couple of them & did the rounds of the nursing home so that Mum did not feel confined in one spot.
The gardens and grounds of the nursing home are kept beautifully maintained and are very welcoming. My favourite garden is the French Provincial (image attached).
Mum had her lunch out in the BBQ area with me and we chatted there for a while.
Mum may be deaf but there is nothing wrong with her sight. She spotted a mountain parrot in a tree where we were sitting.(Image attached)
This afternoon I have spent a few hours in my own garden which has been looking sadly neglected after all the rain. I trimmed the hedge and I swear it was growing more leaves as I was cutting. The inclement weather has bought on a spurt of garden growth and the weeds have loved it.
