Christmas Day 2007 was a very busy event. The weather was thankfully cool with some early rain which made it very pleasant for the traditional hot baked dinner that I had planned.
We enjoyed the company of Shane and Sam; Rod and Anne; Rae and Ron Jay (Anne's parents); Graham and Anne; Nicholas, Carla and Eloise; Matthew; Heather and Lachlan.
Later in the evening our next door neighbours Shirley and Cyril joined us for a glass of cheer.
We had a really good casual day. Far too much to eat and drink which is to be expected on Christmas Day.
Shane played Santa Clause (his traditional role) and handed out all the presents on the day.
Shane & Sam left early in the afternoon so they could catch up with all their family prior to leaving tomorrow for their holiday in Darwin.
I saw Mum at Tarragal House early in the morning and Graham & his family called in to spend some time with her in the afternoon. Mum looked really well and enjoyed all her visitors.
After inspection by all the IT experts in our family it was concluded that my main computer is in a terminal state from the "worm" so it will need a rebuild before I can continue any projects. Meantime I will be on the laptop. I will not be on the computer long enough to use the skype, but I will be able to access my normal emails.
Christmas day was a twenty hour marathon for me so I am looking forward to a R & R day tomorrow.
