Roses from my garden

We had a very busy month in March leading up to our 50th Wedding Anniversary on the 12th March.

Once again outside our holidays it was all about gardens and golf.

Our anniversary coincided with Lyn's 60th Birthday which she was celebrating at Mount Tambourine in Queensland.  We opted to have a family holiday on the Gold Coast at the same time so we could celebrate both events.  We rented a five bedroom house on the Isle of Capri for a week so we could accomodate all of our family and then some. 

We celebrated our anniversary on the Saturday and Lyn's birthday on the Sunday.  The rest of the week we just relaxed at the house and the kids enjoyed the Theme Parks. 

We stayed at Ron and Gwen's home on the way to Queensland and it was great to catch up with them on their lovely property at Taloumbi.

On the way back we stayed for three days at South West Rocks and caught up with Dale and Barry. We also caught up with Alan and Lynda Frazer who live at South West Rocks.

We came home in time for me to use my new Golf Clubs that Peter bought me got me for our anniversary. 

We also had an opportunity to catch up with our Dutch friends Jan Willam and Carla Tuiniman while they were holidays get in Australia and played nine holes of golf at Gosford before going out to dinner.

We are now preparing to travel to Thailand for some R&or.
