F-Troop Morning Tea - very cold morning

We have had totally beautiful weather for the whole month of May - lovely sunshine everyday and mild nights - unbelievable for this time of the year.

We have been able to get in all our golf games and I have enjoyed some lovely days in the garden both here and at the Golf Course.

Joel celebrated his 7th Birthday and enjoyed his special day.

We presented Greg's Memorial Trophy at Narara/Wyoming Cricket a Club Presentation Night at the Grange Hotel and enjoyed catching up with with our old cricket friends.

We have also put in some work in the back garden getting the ponds up running again and have cut back the big frangipani tree in the front yard. Grace gave me some help in the garden on babysit day.

We played in the 2016 Foursomes Championship and played well enough to win the 18 holes nett.

Winter arrived on the last couple if days in May which was a shock to our system as we had enjoyed a beautiful May.

Roses still blooming well in April

The month of April went very quickly as a lot of it was spent in Thailand where we had booked a private villa in a child free resort -  Beyond  Resort Khaolak, Thailand for 10 nights to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary.

We had perfect weather in Thailand and the resort was lovely.  Most of our time was spent relaxing by the multiple pools at the resort, but we did do two day tours.  One down South to see James Bond Island and a second one up north into the mountains for an elephant ride.

More in depth reports and photos of our holiday can be viewed on my travel blog. Click on my profile and select my travel blog there.

We arrived back home to reality in mid April and were quickly back into the golf and gardening scene.

We celebrated Grace's 2nd birthday and we got to have sleep overs for Joel and Emily in the school holidays.

The weather has been very warm for this time of the year.
