As expected this week went past with lightning speed - trying to get ready for our next trip.
Wednesday 2nd April 2014 was Greg's birthday anniversary so it was a heavy heart day. I worked in the garden for most of the day and caught up with household things. Anne, Joel, Emily & Rod came over for dinner as Anne needed a babysit while she went to the doctors for her checkup.
Thursday 3rd April 2014 we went to see Margaret to have our Tax work brought up to date and enjoyed a coffee with Paul & Margaret in the morning. In the afternoon I had an appointment with my hairdresser for a cut and colour to get my hair under control for the holiday.
Friday 4th April 2014 I did a mornings work in the garden as well as catching up with the washing etc. In the afternoon I went to my beautician for nails etc. That evening we went to the Golf Club for dinner and the raffles and managed to win three meat trays which was a bonus. We had a huge electrical storm which gave the gardens a good water.
Saturday 5th April 2014 we started our packing. I went over to the Golf Club in the morning to get the gardens ready for two weddings that were being held in the wedding garden. The weather was threatening but managed to stay clear for the weddings and I got my washing dry. We had our packing under control & most of the last minute jobs done when Anne, Joel & Emily arrived to say farewell. Rod came after work and they stayed for dinner. We are all packed and ready to go. It is very hot on Hainan Island at the moment and most of our days there are forecast at 30 degrees.
Hopefully the weather will stay fine while we are away and we get to play all seven of our anticipated golf games.
