Monday 16th December 2013

Now that the silly season is upon us the days are very busy.

Tuesday 10th December 2013 I did not play golf as it was very hot and instead stayed inside and did a house clean including steam cleaning the carpets.

Wednesday 11th December 2013 I was over at the Golf Club for a garden clean up at the back of the putting green.

Thursday 12th December 2013 Peter and I put in a joint effort to clean the house windows and then I finished off the Christmas cards which was a good job done.

Friday 13th December 2013 we did the household shopping took a walk through the new Masters Store and then over to Bunnings where I bought some flowers for the Golf Club Garden - then back to Masters Store to buy a Christmas Gift.  We had lunch at Subway and then went to Drummond Golf store for a look at their stock. Friday evening we were over at the Golf Club early to prepare tables for the Ham & Pork Raffles and we also had the F-Troop Christmas Dinner evening. We were lucky enough to win a ham on the first raffle ticket out.

Saturday 14th December 2013 I was up early to dead head all the rose gardens and to pick some roses to take to Ivy.  It was Uncle Don Thorley's 90th birthday luncheon at Rankin Park in Newcastle where Ivy still lives. We got to meet up with all my cousins and their siblings and had a nice afternoon catching up.

Sunday 15th December 2013 Rod, Anne, Joel & Emily called around before we went to golf. Our playing partners today were Alvin & Jenny Clark who are the people we rented the motor home from for our Cunnamulla experience.  We had a lovely day at golf and then went on to the Gosford Hotel for dinner after golf to finish the day off.

Monday 16th December 2013 (today) we were up early for F-Troop with a busy day ahead of us.  We worked until 12.30 getting our projects done and then I went around all of the gardens with the General Manager of the Club to identify areas that we can improve on for photo opportunities for the weddings.
Then it was home for a nanny nap after a very busy day.

I am not playing golf tomorrow as I have still got a lot of catch up work to do before Christmas
