This was the formal start of our Äutumn Fall and Canada Tour".
Thursday 27th September 2012 we had a walking tour of the cityof Boston following the "Freedom Trail"through the city where we could view the historical sights and then we had a harbour cruise which gave us some great views of the city from the water. Today was Col's 65th birthday which we celebrated over dinner that night.
Friday 28th September 2012 the bad weather arrived and we left Boston in the rain to commence our Äutumn Fall Tour from Boston to Quebec. The weather improved during the day but was still very cool. It was a very long day in the bus, stopping for lunch at Newport along the way. The trees were just starting to turn colour and got better the closer we got to Canada. We booked into the Hilton Quebec City which was close to the gates of the old City of Quebec.
