It has been 12 months today since Mum passed away. Such a lot has happened in this last year that I could write a book & not all of it good. There is still a big space here where Mum used to be so she is sadly missed by us all.
On Thursday night 2nd April we (the family) went out to dinner to acknowledge what would have been Greg's 40th birthday. We considered buying just a small birthday cake but remembered that Greg would have chosen a BIG one so we turned up with a large choclate mud cake. Luckily we had Len's two children there to help out.
There has not been much golf happening because of the wet weather. The course was closed for a couple of days this week (shock, horror) so I have had time to do some more work in the gardens. Today I have bulk purchased pansies so I can have some good colour in the garden over winter.
Tonight we are having a get together with the golf group that we are going to Melbourne with in a couple of weeks time. We are going to play the beautiful courses that are on the Mornington Peninsula. Tonight I have to brush up on my "500" skills as they are all keen card players.
