Saturday 24th January was the first day of our two week holiday at beautiful Byron Bay.
We travelled up the coast without any hassles, the air conditioning in the car worked well in the hot weather & we arrived in Taloumbi in time for afternoon tea with Ron & Gwen at their beautiful property.
We arrived at Byron Bay about 5.00pm and settled into our beach cabin at the "First Sun" Caravan park right on the beachfront at Byron Bay. It was a very comfortable cabin right accross the road from George & Tosca's caravan.
John & Vicki had a cabin a few doors down, Trevor & Marg shared with Carolyn & Garry next door. Dot & Jim and Evelyn and Brian had a cabin at the back of us - so it was a very convenient and congenial set up for a lovely two week break.
