I have had an incredibly busy week trying to get things done between rain storms and the ongoing task of my photo graveyard is taking it's toll.

Tuesday 28th February 2012 we were lucky enough to have a good weather day so we got our golf in without getting wet.  It was very hot & humid and I was glad to get back into the club's air conditioning after the match.  The course was still wet underfoot and heavy going.  My golf was a bit ordinary but I did get a few 3 pointers along the way. My playing partners were Rosalie Dyer & Doon Jansen & they were great company.  We had a girls afternoon at the club after golf which finished off a good day.

Wednesday 29th February 2012 it had rained heavily overnight.  Peter did some painting work at the club as the course was too wet for him.  I spent the day planting out in some of the golf club gardens.

Thursday 1st March 2012 Peter spent the day painting in the clubhouse & I tidied up some of the garden areas outside the clubhouse.  We spent some time at Bunnings picking up some maintenance things for F-Troop.

Friday 2nd March 2012 it was raining all day.  I was planning on doing some gardening out on the course but instead helped Peter & some of the other club members to paint out one of the reception rooms at the club.  That took us from 7.00am in the morning until 5.00pm.  We rushed home for a shower & were back at the club for raffles night as Peter did not go to his traditional card game at the Grange. We did not stay late as we had such a big day & needed some catch up sleep.

Saturday 3rd March 2012 we were back at the clubhouse early to finish off some of the painting work from the previous day.  At lunch time we rushed home to change and to return to the clubhouse for a Tribute Day for Garry Wilkinson.  Garry is a long time friend of ours who is very ill in hospital.  Garry was a well known sportsman  had a huge turn out of friends turning up to pay tribute to him.  We managed to catch up with a lot of friends that we have not seen for a long while.

Sunday 4th March 2012 Peter was back painting at the club again & then we played golf in the afternoon with Wally & Rhonda Robertson who were great company.  Rhonda & Wally both won nearest the pins & Peter had a good round of golf.  We stayed for dinner at the club but did not stay late as we were felling the strain of the week by then.

Monday 5th March 2012 we were at F-Troop by 7.00am with lots of work to do there.  We had more rain overnight so we could only work in restricted areas.  We got a good mornings work done & I spent the afternoon working on the photo graveyard.  I have been doing little bits just about every day and at this stage seem to be making more mess than I am cleaning up.

Tuesday 6th March 2012 (today) I played golf with Robyn Johnston & Kay Adams.  We had a good day with our main highlight being Kay winning the day.  My golf was half good - then the wheels fell off on the last 9 holes.  Robyn & Kay were great company & we had a good afternoon after golf at the club.  Late this afternoon I have been spending time gathering up all my old marching girls photos from years gone by.  I have scanned them into the computer and have put the originals in an album so I can take them to Moree in April when there is going to be a 150 year celebration parade.  A lot of the original marching girls are returning to Moree for the celebration & we are going to march in the street parade.  That should be fun & I am looking forward to it and catching up with all my Moree friends.  (I have attached a couple of photos from my collection)

More rain has been predicted for this coming week so maybe my photo graveyard will benefit.  We have not seen our babies this week as they have been camping at South West Rocks all week.  They were lucky enough to have some good weather while they were there.
