It has been nearly a month since I have updated this blog and there has been a good reaon for it - No time!
Having not long got back from 17 days in beautiful New Zealand I was devastated at the loss of my dear friend Jenny (Janice) Lidden who passed away while I was in New Zealand.
We both spelled our name the same way but her name was pronounced Jeniece. To save confusion she became "Jenny" and I became "Jan" when we were together.
Jenny & I have been friends since the age of 16 and Jenny was one of my bridesmaids at my wedding 43 years ago.
Today I attended a memorial luncheon for Jenny at Kantara House at Kincumber hosted by her daughter Vashti.
Attached are photos of Jenny as I first knew her when she arrived at Moree to teach Ballet.
Jenny lived at Kincumber and we had lunch together only a short while before I left for New Zealand.
I will be updating my blog for the intervening time when I have got all my hundreds of photos taken in New Zealand culled down to the very best photo of each area we saw.
The golf courses over there are something special as you will see by the photos & the country side very spectacular. It snowed while we were in the Queenstown area so that added to the attraction.
