I am back from our China experience and my blog is back in action.
It is great to be back in the best country in the world.
We had a very interesting trip to China this time having the opportunity to see the best and the worst of China.
The week of golf was absolutely fantastic, playing on golf courses and staying resorts that were just something special.
Our experience on the Yangtze River was mixed with the thrill of seeing the massive Three Gorges and the Three Gorges Dam Project and the dissapointment of not being on the 5 star Cruise Ship that we had booked. We had a lot of fun all the same and made the best of it. Read all about it on my travel blog.
Beijing was very smoggy but we did get to see & climb The Great Wall which was a highlight of the trip for me. We also got to see a lot of their culture & did heaps of shopping.
Coming home our Beijing to Guangzhou flight was delayed due to fog/smog and we missed our connection flight home which meant a three day stop over at Guangzhou to get us on another direct flight to Sydney. The up-side was we had another opportunity to do more shopping.

I am doing the blog in daily reports. At this moment I have uploaded days one and two. I will be uploading as I find time and it will evolve like a "Days of our lives" soapie. You will have to tune in every couple of days to get the latest update as I get around to it.
